In addition to various other salons, Av de salon has been launched in Karachi. This salon even before opening created more hype due to one reason; Ayesha Varsey.  She is a known name in the fashion industry and is recognised for her gorgeous clothes which include wedding dresses, formal wear and embroidered dresses. Ayesha has now joined the beauty industry by opening up her own salon.

The launching ceremony of the salon, held recently, was a glamorous event. What made the event more classy was the presence of  media personalities and celebrities such as model Saima Azhar, Hira Tareen, Gia Ali, Madiha Iftikhar, stylist Beenish Pervaiz, beautician Angie Marshall, designer Nomi Ansari, Deepak Perwani, YBQ and Maheen Khan, Rizwanullah. Also spotted at the occasion were Ali Safina, Aliya Imam, and Ayesha Toor.

As the guests showed up, they were given a tour of the clothing store attached to the salon. The salon itself was closed as it contained a surprise. Guests came and enjoyed Ayesha's creativity of bridal dresses while they waited for the 'surprise', and what a delight that surprise turned out to be. Ayesha chose artists of different ages to showcase her makeup skills in honour of the launch. The artists included big names like Seemi Pasha, Hina Bayat, Bushra Ansari, Hina Dilpazir, Bader Khalil and Sana. All of the stars were dressed in glamorous Ayesha Varsi sarees in different colours and these ladies flaunted the attire and makeup instead of professional models. The sarees worn by artists were heavily embellished, suitable for evening wear and made each lady stand out on her own. Their makeup didn't give off a painted doll effect instead it looked flawless, natural and blended. Overall the event proved to be a success.
