The Bachchans have been fiercely protective about their little bundle of joy - Aishwarya and Abhishek's daughter Aaradhya. They go to any length to protect media from catching a glimpse of the little girl. Now, in an interview with the BBC, Jaya Bachchan revealed, for the first time, that Aaradhya looks a bit like Aishwarya and a bit like Abhishek. She said, "she's a tall girl."
The doting grandmother added, "Aishwarya is a hands on mom. She is sometimes overcautious. Aaradhya is not intimidated by faces. She is beautiful. I call her Strawberry because when she was born she reminded me of a strawberry. She is always smiling. Touchwood. Now she`s trying to crawl and it`s special to us."
"Sometimes I tease Aishwarya and I say well Aaradhya is a very lucky girl because can you imagine having a nurse like Miss World Aishwarya! I would also like Ash to start going out but she is absolutely, totally hands on and doesn`t depend on anybody which I think is great." she added. Though not as glitzy as the times of yore.
Abhishek had earlier vouched for Aishwarya hands on attitude to parenting. In fact, he had clearly said that he felt like he had to wait in line for his wife's affection now. The two are holidaying in London currently where apart from attending a charity dinner, they have kept a low profile. Aishwarya has been spotted out shopping with her baby without Abhishek in tow. |
