Steven Tyler has announced that he will be leaving American Idol, one of the reasons being Aerosmith's next album. We'll let the rocker take the mic from here, only because his official announcement reads like most Aerosmith song lyrics: “After some long ... hard ... thoughts … I've decided it's time for me to let go of my mistress American Idol before she boils my rabbit. I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I'm back -- but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I've got two fists in the air and I'm kicking the door open with my band. The next few years are going to be dedicated to kicking some serious ass -- the ultimate in auditory takeover … On Nov. 6, we are unleashing our new album, Music from Another Dimension on the Earth, Moon, Mars, and way beyond the stars ... Idol was over-the-top fun, and I loved every minute of it ... Now it's time to bring Rock Back. Ermahgerd.” *Guitar Solo*

The sartorially eccentric Chloe Sevigny has ranted about the fashion community in a cover interview with Out Magazine. The actress, who had experimented with her own clothing line at one point which was reminiscent of the worst of '80s style, complained about not being given free stuff by designers. Chloe asked for 20 dresses from various designers for consideration for the British premiere of her film Hit & Miss but was only sent two. “Aren't I one of the top searches on Style.com, for crying out loud?” she joked in the interview. “How hard is it to get a f***ing dress from Valentino?” This would be a great opportunity for Pakistani designers to take note of the actress's style and send off a bunch of swag her way. You're welcome, Chloe.

Kate Moss and George Michael are teaming up for a music video. The singer hasn't released a song since 2004 but we all know how much he loves models in music videos. Remember 'Freedom'? Kate Moss is the perfect choice for the collaboration since she's still doing a lot of modeling and has worked in the White Stripes video directed by Sofia Coppola. Even Duran Duran used the original supermodels for their video 'Girl Panic' featuring Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen and Eva Herzigova. Maybe it's an ‘80's rocker thing. George Michael's song is called 'White Light' and will release on August 12. |
