This Eid, complete your look with the right kind of make-up and accessories
These days one can feel excitement in the air - the hustle and bustle in the bazaars; the traffic jams on the roads and the jam-packed shopping malls - all imply that a happy occasion like Eid is just around the corner. You have finally got your perfect 'Eid ka jora' stitched but you are still unsure about your entire look. Yes, we are talking about make-up which is an essential tool to complete any look especially if the occasion is festive like Eid. This Eid you can show your partner that you are a pretty face and more. This is one day amongst others where you should pay attention to all the little details. So, get ready for Eid with these tips in mind:
Wear something bright:
Eid is an excuse for women to show off their embellished joras. It is an occasion where women can easily carry silks and georgettes or very formal clothes. We know that Eid is the time to get all decked up but make sure that you don't go overboard. Nowadays women have become very fashion and brand conscious and they prefer to wear trendy designer outfits. In fact in our beauty shoot our pretty model Saba Qamar is flaunting beautiful silk dresses. However, since it is summer time we suggest you to wear lawn on Eid. Mind you designer lawn is 'in' fashion. There is an ample variety of colourful prints complemented with pretty embroideries available in the market. Whether you opt for silk, chiffon, lawn or cotton, the choice is unlimited so go and grab something colourful to adorn on Eid.
Have fun with make-up:
This Eid have fun with a little bit of make-up. If you are very much into make-up, consider intensifying your daily make-up routine with deeper shades that scream happiness but do not over do it. On Eid, a light make-up in the morning should look great, dramatic overdone make-up would make you look like a pastry. Do not go too overboard with your blush, but don't be afraid to use some of it either. If make-up isn't your thing, just jazz up your look by putting a lip gloss with a hint of colour and some shimmer eye shadow. Add a little bit of mascara or curl your eyelashes, especially if this is not something that you normally do. Your make-up should blend beautifully with your skin tone and outfit.
For that glamorous evening look...
Make-up will make your evening exciting. For a radiant, glamorous effect, evening make-up should be deep and sophisticated. For a glam look, go for make-up colours that suit your complexion. For a soft and more subtle look, go for liquid foundation and powder to even out your skin tone. Then, using a large brush, apply an illuminator over your whole face to obtain a silky, luminous effect. Then apply a hint of blusher higher up on the contours of your face for a chiselled look. To give your make-up an instant party touch, just brush up deep and vibrant eye shadow to define your eyes. Fake eyelashes, stick-on jewels and glitter can all be part of your glam evening look!
Hit the salon before Eid:
This should be an essential part of your Eid preparations. A trip to a salon before Eid is a must! If you really want to look good on Eid day then your skin should also look good. Have your facial done at least a week before Eid. Pretty painted fingernails and toes are very appealing. There is no harm in spending a few extra bucks in a salon - after all occasions like Eid comes once a year - and we bet everyone will love your groomed look!
Of pretty accessories:
To complete your look pick a designer clutch or purse that goes with your clothes and equip it with other accessories. Purses with jewels, buckles, zippers and other added details are very popular right now. You can also pick your favourite pair of sandals/chapals to go with your handbags and outfit from an array of shoe stores offering trendy chapals and sandals in interesting styles. Don't forget to buy matching earrings and colourful bangles to give yourself a real 'festive' look this Eid!
