  Almond burfi  
 

INGREDIENTS:


Almonds (good quality)          2 cups


Milk     1 cup


Sugar  3/4 cup


Silver paper (chandi warq)          optional


METHOD:


          First of all wash and dry the almonds.


          Then grind the almonds with milk into a fine paste.


          Spread the butter paper on a flat surface.


          Melt the sugar in a heavy bottomed pan and as soon as melted sugar turns into one string consistency add the almond paste.


          Mix it quickly. Now pour on the butter paper and spread it smoothly.


          Use a cutter to give it a required shape and design.


          Carefully lift the butter paper with almond mixture and put it in the pre-heated oven for about 3 to 4 minutes.


          Serve it when cool. Enjoy!
