Kareena won’t drop the Kapoor post marriage
StarBytes....Much is being speculated about the marriage of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor

The Khan's being a Nawab family have a certain decorum to maintain in the name of tradition. The Pataudi family brings another Bollywood Bahu into its fold while the public wonders if Kareena can handle it as well as Sharmila Tagore, Saif's mom, had previously done.

First the question arises whether Kareena will convert to Islam so that a Nikah can be performed. Sharmila Tagore converted to Islam to marry Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi but so far no official statement has been released by Kareena about her religious inclinations. Whether she does or doesn't Kareena has stated previously to the media that she would not give up her career in Bollywood and good for her, Bebo is one of the biggest actresses in India right now and has one of the highest salaries for an actress in the film industry. The future Mrs. Khan can learn a lot from her mother-in-law since Sharmila also married at the height of her career.

After marriage Sharmila Tagore became Ayesha Sultana Khan but because of her Bollywood fame she was never referred to her Muslim name. While Bebo may follow in many of her mom-in-law's guidelines for being married to a Nawab and even wearing Sharmila's wedding dress at her own wedding, one thing Kareena won't do is change her name. Times of India reported: “And it is also being widely debated whether she will adopt another name just like her mother-in-law did. Bebo refuses to make any official comments on her wedding plans. But she is sure about one thing. The actress maintains that she will always remain Kareena Kapoor Khan. 'There is no way I am dropping the Kapoor in my name,' she categorically says.”
