  MY TEEN YEARS

  By F.Zee

Star and date of birth

Capricorn. 11th January, 1974.

The best thing about being a teenager

You think you are the best and you can do wonders!

I was always listening to

My parents.

I was glued to the T.V. for

Knight Riders, Air Wolf and Street Hawk.

Your hobbies

Playing hockey, cricket. In fact, I played all kinds of sports.

My favourite movie was ...

The Joshua Tree and the documentary Rattle and Hum by U2, which was released in 1986-89 but living in Pakistan, I got to watch it in 1993 or 1994. Then, there was Bodyguard (Kevin Costner), Aladdin, Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Batman Returns. Oh! And Superman has been my all time favourite along with the Bond movies.

My favourite book

None at that time!

My favourite actor

Michael.J. Fox, Mel Gibson and Christopher Reeve.

My favourite singer/band

Paul David Hewson (Bono) and Eddie Vedder.

My favourite cartoon character or superhero

It has always been the Superman.

My room was full of

Cassettes, records, VHS tapes, clothes and shoes.

My room walls carried the posters of

Jennifer Connelley and Tom Cruise.

My closet was full of

Clothes!

My most precious possession

The cd of The Unforgettable Fire by U2.

My friends were

Like what... Adnan, Sameer, Khalid, Mansoor. I hope that’s what you asked for.

My first crush/ my first date

It was my classmate in 1996. My first date was the same girl.

What hurt me the most?

When a batsman hits a six on my ball.

My inspiration

BONO (U2).

My dream was to become

A cricketer or a hockey player.

My best memory

Going to the beach with my dad.

I wish I had known then

That no one is going to live forever.

Relations with siblings

Love and hate.

Relations with parents

Hardly home.

My school

Punishment.

Ragging at college/university

“Ragging is any disorderly conduct, whether by words spoken or written, or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness, indulging in rowdy or indisciplined activities which cause or are likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or a junior student and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the psyche of a fresher or a junior student.” Well, I did it all!

I couldn’t stand

My teachers at college!

 My favourite hangout

My college.
