ACE summons Buzdar’s aide on charges of bribery

LAHORE: Former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar's principal secretary Tahir Khurshid Kokal has come on the radar of the Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab and it has summoned him on charges of bribery.

Khurshid has also been accused of taking bribe for transfers and postings. Earlier, the ACE had arrested Chief Engineer Waseem Tariq, an alleged front man of Khurshid, and accused him of receiving Rs 9.4m bribe from a contractor. Khurshid was transferred in 2021 in the wake of a NAB investigation.Khurshid had developed good relations with the former CM as commissioner of DG Khan.
