LAHORE: Garena Free Fire has entered into a strategic collaboration with Directorate General Sports & Youth Affairs Punjab to strengthen and promote esports in Pakistan.
This initiative will seek to enable and equip the growth of a new tide of young esports professional players throughout the country.
Free Fire Pakistan recently announced its new flagship national tournament, the Soobai Series. which is set to induct new professional esports players into the Pakistan ecosystem, having placed participation restrictions on the top 9 teams from this year's FFPL III and including placeholder positions for winners of the Soobai Series in FFPL IV. This initiative helps to extend more opportunities to players from Free Fire’s evolving community to pursue esports as a career.
The Grand Final of the Soobai Series is scheduled to be held on the 31st of July, at the iconic premises in Nishtar Park Sports Complex, courtesy of the Punjab Sports Board.
The Free Fire Soobai Series will have a total prize pool valued at PKR 4 Million.
