LAHORE: With three plate and two cup events, the Lahore Race Club has a card of five races set for the 6th day winter meeting of 2021-22 on Sunday (today).
As the acceptances with order of running goes, a Pastime plate is followed by Jockey Imtiaz Memorial Cup, Autumn Cup and the remaining two plate races.
In the opening Pastime Plate which is of class VII and division-IV&V, the favourite for win is Silken Blade and for places Galactic Choice and Chhota Dera. The lineup includes Khabib, Chhota Pathan, Merchant of Venus, Neeli De Malika, Natalia and Ayubia PrIncess.
The second race is the Jockey lmtiaz Memorial Cup. In this class VII and division-V race Zaman Sahib is the focus of attention with place expectations on Sultan Jahaniya and Umer Princess. Also in the field are Ubbi, Bright Bomber, Jonti Road, After Hero, Al Nasar, Black Powder, Big Foot and Amazing Thunder.
The Autumn Cup is of class VI and division-III and IV. The win is expected from Nayel and places may be taken by Drums of War and Al Khalid. The remaining challengers are Rapunzel Beauty, Amazing Lips and Gondal Prince.
In the fourth race, What Is Secret is favourite and places are believed going to Remember Me and Champion of Minds. Others in the run are Miss World, Mr Gondal, Timbo, Another Attack and Codes Cracker.
The final race of the day has Jalpana Prince as the favourite while Salam-e-Dera and Spring Festival may take places. The field also has Khadim, Another Island, Golden Pound, Finisher and Statue Of Liberty.
