ISLAMABAD: A number of rallies and functions were organised all over the country to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army on Wednesday.
The biggest rally was held in the coastal belt of Gaddani, Lasbella, in which thousands of people including celebrities, teachers and students and hundreds of vehicles participated. The participants raised slogans in favour of the Pak Army led by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. They paid tribute to sacrifices rendered by Pakistani soldiers in the face of different challenges. They said that criticism on the Pakistan Army would never be tolerated. They said the Pakistan Army was the only institution they trusted.
The areas where the rallies were held included Gilgit-Baltistan, Multan, Hub, Zhob, Lasbella, Quetta, Dakki, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Upper Dir, Bajaur, Asta Muhammad, Qila Saifullah, Bolan and Sibi.
