TANK: Deputy Commissioner Hameedullah Khattak and District Health Officer Dr Sher Khan Afridi formally launched an anti-polio campaign by administering drops to children at the DC office here on Saturday.
Hameedullah Khattak said that the armed forces would provide full support to the Tank district administration during the campaign, which would start on December 5. “No child should be left without vaccination,” he said, adding that 92,338 children would be vaccinated against polio in Tank. Foolproof security arrangements have been made by the district police.
