ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Tuesday that the All Parties Conference (APC) convened on Thursday (February 9) had been postponed and a new date would be announced after consultation with allies.
In a tweet, Ms Aurangzeb said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would leave for Ankara on Wednesday (today) to express condolence and solidarity with President Erdogan and people of Turkiye over the loss of precious lives and destruction caused by the deadly earthquake the other day.
This is the second time that the APC, which was convened following the Peshawar mosque attack, has been postponed by the government. Initially, the APC was scheduled to take place on February 7, however, the date was later changed to February 9.
