LAHORE: Another 29 matches were played during the ongoing Ali Embroidery Junior National Tennis Championship 2021 here at the Punjab Tennis Academy courts, Bagh-e-Jinnah, on Wednesday.
In all the 29 matches the seeded players had an easy sailing into the next round. In boys under-18, Mahatir Muhammad beat Hassan Ali 6-4, 7-5, Farman Shakeel beat Nalain Abbas 6-2, 6-4, Abdullah Adnan beat Bilal Asim 6-0, 6-3, and Faizan Fayyaz beat Kashan Tariq 6-0, 6-1.
In boys under-14, Asad Zaman beat Abu Bakar Khalil 6-0, 6-1, Muzamil Bhand beat Sameer Zaman 7-6(3), 3-1(RTD), and Shehryar Anees beat Nadir Ali Raza 6-3, 6-1.
In girls under-18, Amna Ali Qayyum beat Zainab Imran 6-0, 6-0, Ashtifila Arif beat Noori Saad 6-2, 6-2, and Zainab Ali beat Tooba Babar 6-1, 6-2.
In under-14 doubles, Sohan Noor and Abu Bakar Khalil beat Harris M Mustafa 4-1, 4-1, Ameer Mazari and Nadir Raza beat Ameen and Abdullah 4-0, 4-0.
In under-12 doubles, Abu Bakar Talha and Zohaib Afzal beat Abdul Basit and Ismail 4-0, 4-0, Ameer and Omer beat Abdul Wahab and Rashid Ali 4-1, 4-0.
