KARACHI: Malaysia’s Nizam Afandy and Asri Zaman se cured the top positions in the ILCA-7 category on the sec ond day of the CNS Interna tional Sailing Regatta at PN Aquatic Club here on Friday. Olympian Nizam Afandy took the first position and Asri Zaman secured the second po sition while Bowonnan Chan ram from Thailand grabbed the third position. Six races were conducted on the second day of this first ever international sailing event in Pakistan being hosted by Pakistan Navy. In the Windsurfing RSX Class category, the top posi tion was secured by Pakistan’s Qasim Abbas from Pakistan and Izzuddin bin Abdul Rani from Malaysia took the sec ond position while the third position was grabbed by Pak istan’s M Irfan. In the ILCA-4 Class (under 18) category, the first position was taken by Isaac Goh from Singapore while Thailand’s Miss Noppassorn Khunboon jan and Thanapat Sricharoen secured second and third po sitions, respectively
