LAHORE: Body of a 22-year-old girl missing from Faisal Town was recovered from canal near Chuhng area on Friday. Police took the body into custody and detained three suspects. The father of the girl had registered an FIR in Faisal Town police station. As per FIR, on March 20, at 3am, the girl’s mother woke up and found her missing from the house. The police got CCTV footage from the neighbours and found that she had left the house and was taken away by someone.
Man found dead: A 45-year-old man was recovered dead from from Data Darbar police area. Some passersby spotted the body lying on Shesh Mahal Road and informed the police. Edhi spokesperson said the man, yet to be identified, was an addict who might have died of excessive use of drugs.
