LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Saturday approached the Lahore High Court for the removal of the current caretaker government in Punjab. The petition stated that after the Supreme Court’s order for May 14 elections in Punjab, the current caretaker government had completed its term. The petition implored the court to remove the caretaker government and form a new interim set-up after consultation with all the parties.
