LAHORE: Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minister-in-Charge of the Prime Minister’s Public Affairs and Grievances Wing Murtaza Javed Abbasi has launched WhatsApp and social media platforms to provide easy and swift access to the Prime Minister’s Complaints Cell.
The launching ceremony of these social media platforms took place at the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs on Friday. The event was attended by Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs Muhammad Shakeel Malik, Additional Secretary Asif Saeed Khan Laghmani, Senior Joint Secretary Shahid Ahmed Sindhu, and other ministry officials.
During a media briefing, Federal Minister Murtaza Javed Abbasi highlighted the initiative taken for public convenience, saying that the Prime Minister’s Public Affairs and Grievances Wing has officially established Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp platforms. These platforms will be available 24/7 for citizens to register complaints. To lodge a complaint against federal ministries, divisions, corporations, and provincial departments, the public can call or message 03108151766.
Murtaza Javed Abbasi shared a success story from the Lahore Open Court, where a citizen reported that his daughter was held in custody. Prompt action was taken, and the police team recovered the girl immediately.
