ISLAMABAD: Local players made exit from the ITF Pakistan ITA-Midcourt International Junior Tennis Championships as the last survivor Hamid Israr made exit from the boys’ singles at the PTF Complex courts.
French boy Teano Balducci (FRA) beat Hamid Israr (PAK) 7-6(7), 6-0 to make it to the third round. In day’s other singles match Mujtaba Ali Khan (USA) upset second seed Yunes Talavar (IRI) 6-1, 6-0 to progress to the third round.
Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) President Salim Saifullah Khan and Tariq Mahmood Murtaza President Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA) and Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) also visited the PTF complex, interacted with the players and had a photo session with participants.
Tariq Murtaza inspected the arrangements and thanked the PTF management for providing all possible assistance and support to ITA for the conduct of the event.
