LAHORE: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, former president Asif Ali Zardari, Maryam Nawaz and other prominent political leaders telephoned to inquire about the health of PMLQ President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain while Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz reached the hospital himself where he met Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Salik Hussain MNA.
All the leaders expressed their good wishes for the speedy recovery of Ch Shujaat Hussain while Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Salik Hussain expressed their heartfelt gratitude during their discussions with various leaders.
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz contacted Salik Hussain on phone and found out details about his father, Ch Shujaat Hussain. They said Ch Shujaat Hussain is a symbol of elegance and “we pray for his speedy recovery”. Former President Asif Ali Zardari talked on phone with Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Salik Hussain and prayed for the speedy recovery of Chaudhry Shujaat. He said: “All our good wishes and prayers are for Ch Shujaat Hussain.” Talking to Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Salik Hussain at the hospital, Hamza Shehbaz said: “We have always maintained a respectful relationship with you family, our whole family prays for the speedy recovery of Ch Shujaat Hussain.” Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Salik Hussain thanked Hamza Shehbaz and his family for their prayers and best wishes for Ch Shujaat Hussain.
