PESHAWAR: A delegation of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) on Sunday visited the residence of former federal minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Arbab Alamgir Khan.
It may be mentioned that the former federal minister Arbab Alamgir is expected to quit the PPP and join PMLN over his differences with the party leadership. His wife Asma Alamgir, who was serving as central Deputy Information Secretary of PPP, has resigned from her position.
She said that the PPP leadership did not give due attention to the party and its workers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The PMLN delegation consisted of former governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Captain (retd) Mohammad Safdar and Arbab Khizer Hayat. They delivered the best wishes of PMLN supreme leader Nawaz Sharif to Arbab Alamgir and his son Arbab Zarak Khan. Arbab Alamgir thanked the PMLN leaders for visiting his residence.
