CM orders crackdown against dacoits

LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed deep sorrow over the loss of valuable lives in the bandit firing near Machhka, a suburb of Rahim Yar Khan and paid tribute to the heroic sacrifices of Constable M Qasim and Constable Jam Irshad, who were martyred in the encounter.

Taking swift notice of the farmers' shooting incident, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi sought a report from the Inspector General of Police. He directed an immediate and effective crackdown against the dacoits, stressing the deployment of additional police forces. Measures are to be taken to swiftly apprehend and eliminate the criminals, he added.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi extended heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of Constable M Qasim and Martyr Constable Jam Irshad. He praised the martyred cops for their courageous fight against the robbers, saluting the sacrifices of Punjab Police's brave soldiers.

Highlighting the pride brought to Punjab Police by Constables Qasim and Jam Irshad, Naqvi acknowledged their sacrifice in protecting lives and property of the citizens. He assured that the government stood with the families of the martyrs and committed to their well-being. Naqvi directed the administration to provide the best medical facilities for the injured constables M Asif, Naveed, Abdul Razzaq, M Sarwar, and others.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has taken strong notice of the robbery incident targeting a Sikh pilgrim family in Gulburg and has promptly sought a report from CCPO Lahore. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed the swift apprehension of the individuals involved in the robbery, emphasising the urgent identification of the suspects through CCTV footage. He has called for the culprits to be brought to justice within 48 hours, deeming the incident of robbing a Sikh family in an area like Gulbarg a grave lapse in security.

Highlighting the seriousness of the situation, Naqvi asserted that any negligence in the matter should be identified, and appropriate action must be taken against the responsible police personnel. He underscored that Sikh pilgrims are esteemed guests, and ensuring their protection is a paramount responsibility.

Expressing full sympathy with the victim Sikh family, Naqvi assured that the accused will not evade the legal consequences.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has expressed profound sorrow over the tragic demise of a student in a school van accident near Renala Khurd. He extended heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the grieving family of the deceased student.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has instructed the administration to ensure the provision of the highest quality medical treatment for the injured students. Emphasising accountability, he asserts that the driver, found responsible for negligence, should face legal consequences, and further appropriate actions must be taken. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has also sought a comprehensive report on the incident.
