This refers to the letter ‘Indefensible’ (December 1, 2023) by Kulsoom Arif. Referring to the acquittal of Nawaz Sharif in the Avenfield case, the writer poses the question “For how long will the nation suffer the crucifixion of the constitution?”.
I am sure the writer knows already that fretting and/or fuming over a hopeless scenario is not good for one’s health. There is no chance of a collective awakening of the consciences of the power holders nor is there any hope for a revival of the sanctity of the constitution.
