ISLAMABAD: A larger bench of the Supreme Court under Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa will soon be hearing the presidential reference regarding the “murder of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto”.
The reference for declaring the execution of ZAB as a judicial murder is likely to be fixed for a hearing next week.
It is pertinent to mention here that former president Asif Ali Zardari had filed a presidential reference in the apex court in 2011. Six hearings of the reference have taken place so far. The first five hearings of presidential reference were conducted by an 11-member larger bench under former CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
