karachi: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari presided over a meeting of the parliamentary board of his party’s Sindh chapter on the second consecutive day on Wednesday, during which the selection of candidates in two divisions of Sindh, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas, was discussed in detail.
According to a press release issued by the Media Cell, Bilawal House, the meeting was attended by Sindh PPP President Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, former chief ministers Syed Qaim Ali Shah and other party leaders. Chairing the parliamentary board meeting a day earlier, Bilawal had directed his party workers to speed up preparations for the upcoming general elections due on February 8 next year.
The meeting on Tuesday also reviewed arrangements for a programme to be held in Larkana on December 27 to mark the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto.
