The federal government has set the minimum wage at Rs32000. Sadly, many, mostly private, companies are not following this standard and are underpaying their employees.
The government needs to take stern action against companies not complying with existing rules and should form inspection teams with immediate effect to avoid further exploitation of workers in these times of unprecedented inflation.
