KHAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-backed losing independent candidates on Sunday reject the poll results in Bajaur and announced to move court and Election Commission of Pakistan.
Speaking at a press conference, PTI local leaders, including former member National Assembly Gul Zafar Khan, Sikandar zaib Khan and others said that the relevant returning officers had disappeared from the offices, who had allegedly altered the results. They alleged that PTI-backed independent candidates Anwar Zeb Khan on PK-20 and Ajmal Khan on PK-21 were winning the elections but their victory was changed into defeat fraudulently and the people’s mandate was stolen under a conspiracy.
The PTI activists asked the Jamaat-e-Islami winning candidates to show moral decency and return their right to their party contestants.
The PTI activists also announced to move court and ECP if their candidates were not declared winners on these two seats.
