CHITRAL: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-backed independent winning candidate on Sunday thanked the people of Chitral Lower and pledged that he would not disappoint his electorates.
Addressing a press conference, the MPA-elect Fatihul Mulk Ali Nasir said that the people of Chitral Lower had showered an unprecedented favour on him by electing him with a heavy margin.
It was the win of the vision of the incarcerated leader and former prime minister Imran Khan, he said, adding that the PTI was not provided a level playing field but still the people voted the party despite all odds.
He said that the PTI would form a government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Centre and the country would be brought back on the track to development and prosperity. He also thanked the rival candidates for maintaining peace and cordial atmosphere during the electioneering and post-elections.
