NOWSHERA: A son was fatally shot while walking home with his family in Azakhel area of the district on Wednesday.
Ms Asiya reported to the police that she, along with her son Jawad Ali and daughter-in-law Fatima, were walking home when they encountered armed assailants. She said the armed men opened fire, killing Jawad Ali.
The victim was first taken to a health facility, but he succumbed to his injuries. The attackers fled the scene before the arrival of law-enforcement personnel.
The police said they had started an investigation into the incident.
