President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday reached Karachi from Islamabad and visited the Mazar of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The newly elected president prayed for the departed soul of the founder of the country. He was presented with a guard of honour. Zardari paid tribute to the founder of the nation and also recorded his remarks in the visitor’s book.
Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party, senior government and armed forces’ officials were also present on the occasion.
