The Pakistan Navy (PN) and the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) have retrieved the bodies of the four remaining missing fishermen from the open sea.
The deceased were among a crew of 45 fishermen aboard Boat Al-Asad, which crashed in the open sea near Hajamru Creek on March 5. Thirty-one fishermen had survived the disaster and 14 others had gone missing.
The spokesman for the ISPR said personnel of the Pakistan Navy and PMSA conducted extensive rescue operations through aircraft, helicopters, ships and fast boats. The Pakistan Navy and PMSA units had found the bodies of 10 missing fishermen on Monday. With the recovery of four more bodies, the remains of all the 14 missing fishermen have been recovered from the sea and handed over to the civil authorities.
