ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has granted permission to Hiba Fawad, wife of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry, to travel abroad.
The court issued these orders during a hearing Tuesday regarding a petition filed by Hiba Fawad Chaudhry seeking the removal of her name from the no-fly list.Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani heard the petition filed by Hiba Fawad. Assistant Attorney General (AAG) Usman Ghumman and Qaisar Imam, counsel for the petitioner, along with others, appeared in court.The AAG informed the court that the petitioner’s name was not included in the no-fly list.
The court observed that no restrictions are preventing the applicant from travelling abroad.The court directed the petitioner to submit an affidavit upon her return to Pakistan stating that she faced no difficulties while travelling abroad.Granting permission for Hiba Fawad to travel abroad, the court adjourned the hearing of the petition indefinitely.
