ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has constituted ten member FBR’s Restructuring and Automation Steering Committee in order to oversee progress on the bringing reforms in the tax collection machinery.
Prime Minister will himself work as Chairman of the Steering Committee on FBR’s Restructuring and Automation Plan and other members would be comprised of Minister for Finance, Minister for Commerce, Minister for Industries and Production, Minister for Law, Federal Secretary Finance, Secretary Commerce, Secretary Industries, Secretary Revenue Division and Secretary Board of Investment.
This Steering Committee is mandated to evaluate the progress on the restructuring plan of the FBR and PM Office has sent out circular to this effect to Finance Division.
