‘Pakistan most dangerous country for journalists’

SUKKUR: Provincial Minister for Information & Labour Saeed Ghani said he can live without ministerial post but could not see people living without shelters in Sindh, adding that Pakistan has become the most dangerous country for the journalist all over the world.

While addressing at a ceremony to distribute laboratory concession cards organised by Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ) at Hyderabad Press Club on Saturday, Saeed Ghani said the Today's event is the best initiative of HUJ to distribute laboratory concession cards as treatment has become very expensive nowadays. He said the Sindh government would soon introduce ‘Labor Card’, saying it would be for all public and private employees, also requesting federal government and other stakeholders to provide Rs25,000 minimum monthly wage to their employees. He said providing facilities to the workers would not reduce the income of the employers.

The labour minister said the wages of the workers would be raised again, though the provincial government has been facing serious pressure from various industries to lower the wages.
