Islamabad:The City Traffic Officer (CTO) has asked traffic officials to maintain smooth flow of traffic during Eid shopping in markets and on roads by strictly implementing traffic rules on the roads.
The Islamabad Capital Police remains actively engaged in maintaining smooth traffic flow in the federal capital, a police spokesman said. In this regard, Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad conducted a meeting at Traffic Headquarters Faizabad, which was attended by zonal DSPs and other senior officers, a public relations officer said. He said that, the meeting discussed intensifying crackdowns on vehicles with tinted glasses, fancy and unauthorized number plates to further accelerate during the last ten days of Ramadan and take effective measures regarding traffic arrangements.
