PARACHINAR: Four colliers, including three of a family, were killed due to an explosion caused by the gas accumulation in a coalmine in the far-off Dand Khodaidadkhel area in Kurram tribal district on Thursday.The local residents along with the coalminers retrieved bodies from the coal pit after hectic efforts for several hours.
Deputy commissioner Javedullah Mahsud said that the four miners were killed in the explosion caused by the gas accumulation in a coalmine in the far-off Dand Khodaidadkhel area. He said that the victims identified as Shahrukh Khan and three members of a family named Hakimzada, his son Danish and brother Sherin Zada belonged to Swat district. He said that local volunteers and coalminers retrieved the bodies while a probe has been launched in the incident.
