ISLAMABAD: The Cabinet Division has sent a circular to federal ministries and divisions with directions to take precautionary measures against activities of hackers, who had made attempts through 132 applications to steal sensitive information.
The ministries and divisions have been informed that hackers are now using 12 applications to have access to sensitive information by invading the official data.
The officials associated with use of applications have been directed to install anti-virus and refrain from installation of information from unreliable applications. They have also been asked that they should also stop using WiFi networks.
