ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Saleh Ahmad Farooqui, a BPS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service as Federal Secretary Commerce with immediate effect.
Saleh Farooqi was waiting for posting at the Establishment Division. The post of Secretary Commerce was vacant following the appointment of Muhammad Khurram Agha as Secretary Interior.
The services of a BPS-20 officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, Fareed Ahmad Tarar have been placed at the disposal of Punjab government. Meanwhile, Qaisar Khan Khattak, a BPS-19 officer of Secretariat Group, who was working on post of Director General Human Resource in the Capital Development Authority, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division with immediate effect and till further orders.
