LONDON: Nuno Espirito Santo believes Nottingham Forest’s clash with Wolves will be vital in their bid for survival.Nuno faces his former club at the City Ground on Saturday as Forest battle for survival in the Premier League.
Forest are currently just above the relegation zone in 17th, above Luton only on goal difference and Nuno, who spent four years with Wolves, believes Saturday’s game will be “very tough”.
“(They are a) very good team, fantastic job from Gary (O’Neil). A tough opponent but we are ready and we look forward to the game,” Nuno said.“Every game (is a must-win), especially in the situation we have and this is always our approach.
“We always pray for the three points, sometimes it’s not possible, but definitely a very important game for us.“All the games in the Premier League are so hard that you cannot minimise the difficulty of your opponent and Saturday’s going to be very tough because Wolves is a good team.
“Like I said before, at the City Ground we’ve been playing good and we’ll try. It’s a vital game for us.”Nuno is also hoping to bring “positives” from last weekend’s 3-1 loss to Tottenham, where they picked up their first defeat in four games. “I think we did a good first half, we were in the game and I think we played very, very good,” Nuno added.
“Unfortunately we were not able to sustain to the second half and we allowed Tottenham to go back into the game and win. “Some positives, it’s true, we break a little bit of momentum, but I think the team is playing better at the City Ground.
