Federal Minister for Privatisation, Board of Investment and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has said that an increase in exports is inevitable, which would also enhance foreign reserves and stabilise the national economy, according to a press release.
Khan said that the private sector should come forward to explore new opportunities in different fields that can merge the export rate at national level.
During an important meeting of the business community and investors that he chaired at the Governor House in Karachi, the federal minister stressed the need to take special measures, especially in view of Pak-Saudi investment and export agreements.
He said that for export purposes we have to enhance the capacity of our working in the export sector, which would ultimately help us create more jobs through investment.
He urged the private sector to find new opportunities to invest domestically and abroad, for which the government would provide them with all the possible facilities. He welcomed the visit of a high-level delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He expressed hope that the private sector would take full advantage of this opportunity that would also boost bilateral trade between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
