The O Level and A Level examinations under the Cambridge Assessment International Education will start on April 25 and continue till June 13.
Around 100,000 students from across Pakistan will take the Cambridge exams in the May/June 2024 examination session. More than 40,000 students will appear for Cambridge exams in Karachi while around 15,000 students from across Pakistan will also appear for Cambridge exams as private candidates.
Around 6,000 students from Karachi will take the Cambridge exams as private candidates. About 100 examination centres have been established across Pakistan, of which around 20 have been established in Karachi.
Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, mathematics, English and Urdu are the most popular Cambridge O Level subjects in Pakistan while physics, mathematics, business, chemistry and computer science are the most popular A Level subjects in the country.
Around 800 schools across Pakistan are affiliated with the Cambridge system, including 200 schools in Karachi.
