PESHAWAR: The Anti-Corruption Establishment Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has registered five cases against Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, according to a report submitted to the Peshawar High Court (PHC).
The report said five cases were registered at the Anti-Corruption, Dera Ismail Khan Circle. Ali Amin Gandapur was nominated in cases number 2, 7, 10,6 and 9.
The Anti-Corruption had sent a report to the relevant court to drop two cases against him. The report was submitted to the PHC in connection with the writ petition by the chief minister seeking the details of the cases registered against him. The court had ordered the Anti-Corruption Establishment to submit the details of the cases against the chief minister.
The Federal Investigation Agency has two inquiries pending against the chief minister while the National Accountability Bureau has confirmed one. According to the police, six cases were registered against Ali Amin Gandapur in Dera Ismail Khan. However, he was on bail in most of the cases.
