DUBAI: The Dubai government has announced that private schools in the emirate will switch to online learning on Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, in response to anticipated unstable weather conditions.
This decision, made in collaboration with the educational regulatory authority of Dubai, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, aims to ensure the safety of teachers and students. The UAE National Centre of Meteorology issued alerts regarding moderate to heavy rainfall anticipated across the UAE. While, Abu Dhabi is projected to experience rain showers and thunderstorms on May 2, followed by Dubai and Sharjah.
