Promotions, transfers

LAHORE : The Punjab government has issued notification regarding transfer, posting and promotion of following officers on Wednesday.

According to the notification, Lt-Gen (Retd) Muhammad Abdul Aziz has been appointed as Punjab Public Service Commission Chairman for a period of three years. Laraib Aslam, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Sheikhupura, has been promoted to BS-18 and upon promotion she has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary Finance vice Amir Raza, already transferred and posted as Director PDMA. Zonaira Aftab, AC Rawalpindi, has also been promoted to BS-18 and after the promotion she too has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Hqrs) Rawalpindi. Waqas Sikandar, AC Gujranwala City, has been promoted to BS-18 and upon promotion he has been posted as Staff Officer to Additional Chief Secretary. Muhammad Shahid, Adl DC (Gen) Rahim Yar Khan, has been transferred and posted as Adl DC (Revenue) Layyah replacing Sharjeel Hafeez Wattoo, already transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary Communication & Works (C&W).

Capt (Retd) Shehryar Sherazi (awaiting posting) has been posted as Adl DC (Revenue) Murree. Flt-Lt (Retd) Ahmad Haroon, Deputy Secretary (IPC) I&C Wing of S&GAD, has been posted as Adl DC (Chakwal) vice Bilal-bin-Abdul Hafeez, already transferred and directed to report S & GAD for further orders. Hafiz Irfan Hameed, Adl DC (Gen) Narrowal, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary (Admin) Transport Department vice Iftat-un-Nisa already transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary (IPC) I&C Wing of S&GAD.
