KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ashab Irfan moved into the quarterfinals of the Hyder Trophy in the United States on Friday. After getting bye in the first round, sixth seed Ashab defeated unseeded Omar ElKattan from Egypt 12-14, 13-11, 11-4, 11-7 in 46 minutes in the second round. He will face fourth seed Jeremias Azaña from Argentina in the quarters.
