BISE chairman stresses training of exam staff

LAHORE : Commissioner/Chairman of Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore Zaid bin Maqsood has said that training of superintendents and deputy superintendents at the district level is indispensable before every examination.

He said this while presiding over a meeting which was attended by BISE Lahore Secretary Bushra Bibi and Controller Examinations Zahid Mian.

Zaid bin Maqsood said that the board exam was the most sensitive part of the education system and added complete transparency was the real credibility. He also directed the board officials that for the ongoing examinations, it was mandatory to check each of the examination centres daily. He said that modern technology must be used for the facilitation of students of Lahore board.

The work for CCTV monitoring of all examination centres must be completed soon, he said and added that the monitoring teams must check the examination centres through unannounced visits. He said that no unauthorised person was allowed to enter the Lahore Board Secrecy Branch and added a record of authorisation must also be kept in this regard.
