RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed six terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan.
The IBO was conducted on the night of Friday and Saturday on the reported presence of terrorists.
An intense fire exchange took place between troops and the terrorists, as a result of which six terrorists were sent to hell. Terrorists’ hideout was also destroyed.
The killed terrorists remained involved in many terrorist activities against the security forces as well as target-killing of innocent civilians in the area.
A sanitization operation is being conducted in the area by the security forces which are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country, the ISPR said.
