SWABI: A disturbing incident rocked Jalbai village on Sunday as a mentally disturbed man reportedly slaughtered his wife, sending shockwaves through the community, police said on Sunday.
Abdul Nabi, filing an FIR at Tordher Police Station, described how his father, Mohammad Nabi, disturbed him in the early hours, confessing to the heinous act of killing his wife. Rushing to their room, Abdul Nabi discovered his mother’s lifeless body.
Detailing his father’s ongoing battle with mental health issues, he highlighted their efforts to seek treatment for him. He said that despite their efforts, the unfortunate incident unfolded.Police authorities, upon receiving the report, immediately launched raids in various areas to apprehend the accused. However, their efforts have yet to yield success.Police said an FIR had been registered, and investigations were underway.
