RAHIM YAR KHAN: Police killed two robbers and injured seven others when they attacked a check-post at Kacha Machcha.
According to police, they were fortifying checkpoints in Kacha Machka, when robbers attacked. Police retaliated with full force.
As a result, two robbers, identified as Nazir Shar and Alam Shar, of the Shar gang, who had martyred three youths, were killed while many others were reportedly injured.
The operation is being monitored by DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal.
The police say the operation will continue until the elements challenging the writ of the government are eliminated.
