LAHORE: Punjab University’s Department of Graphic Design organised an international seminar on ‘Pakistan-Netherlands Cultural Coherence’.
On this occasion, Chairman Department of Graphic Design Prof Dr Ahmad Bilal, Director Student Affair M Ali Klasra, faculty members and a large number of students were present.
In his address, Prof Dr Ahmad Bilal thanked the Netherlands' Embassy and Govt of Pakistan for providing this opportunity to the PU Graphic Design Department.
He said that music was the prime art form and backbone of Design and Creative Industries.
Artists from Netherlands including Eva Aukes (guitarist) and Anastasia (violinist) and the experts from Pakistan including Wajih Nizami (sitarist) and Irfan Khan (tabla player) presented the national anthems of both the countries.
Prof Israr Chishti explained different formations of instruments and explained it with live examples.
